Introduction

On 8th Nov 2012 we released a new update for eXdomain application, which added SEOmoz integration. SEOmoz integration has been one of the most expected features in eXdomain for a considerable group of our users.

SEOmoz integration allows you to analyze the Mozscape API URL metrics along with all other values supported by eXdomain.

The eXdomain application is all you need to start using SEOmoz. Out of the box you can check the Mozscape URL metrics for up to 100 domains. If you need more, you will need to register for your own FREE SEOmoz API key and set it up in eXdomain configuration.

eXdomain also lets you analyze all the paid Mozscape URL metrics delivered within Low, Medium and High volume paid subscription plans from SEOmoz.

What is Mozscape?

Mozscape is a data repository and a toolset built by Moz that contains a frequently updated index of the World Wide Web similar to those used by the major search engines – Google, Yahoo, Bing. The index can provide you with link metrics that will allow you to gain insight into the links to your or your competitors’ sites.

The core feature of Mozscape – the accurate and fresh link data – gives you the ability to understand the relative levels of link popularity for sites and pages, as well as how “trusted” those resources are. The information provided by Mozscape lets you learn more about who links to any site or page on the web, which links are sending value in what relative quantities, and how large a role the links play in search engine rankings. By leveraging this critical data, you can:

1. Understand the ordering of search results better

2. Compare your sites and pages against your competition

3. Make better decisions about link acquisition sources

4. Determine which pages on a site are the most important/linked-to

5. Observe disparities between link popularity and trust (and uncover why such a disparity could be happening)

6. Identify potentially manipulative link behaviors

What metrics are available and what they mean?

eXdomain supports all Mozscape URL metrics from FREE and PAID subscription plans. Depending on your configuration you will be allowed to analyze an appropriate set of mozscape metrics.
